Dear Members Partners and Friends,
It's hard to believe that the Children's Forum is celebrating 20 years of commitment to high quality programs in early care and education to ensure the best possible learning outcomes for children. Although faces, programs and services have changed over the years to adapt to the ever-changing landscape, our mission to provide leadership and advocacy for quality, affordable and available services for all children remains unchanged.
During the One Goal Summer Conference in Tampa, the Forum hosted a 20th Anniversary Reception. Thank you to all who attended and provided a congratulatory video message to the Forum. I was humbled by your responses and truly grateful for your words of encouragement. So many of you played an important role in our history and contributed towards the achievement of our goals.
I invite you to share your own personal experience on how the Forum's programs or services have helped you or even a special memory of the Forum that you would like to provide. Responses will be posted on our website. Please contact Jenna Brown at 850-487-6344 or jjbrown@thechildrensforum.com for more information.
If you were unable to attend our reception in Tampa, we cordially invite you to our future receptions set for September 18 in Tallahassee at our Forum headquarters and October 1 in Miami at the United Way Center for Excellence. I hope to see you there.
We've come a long way, but we couldn't have done it without the support from our board of directors, members, partners and friends who defend our mission and are champions for the children of Florida. I look forward to sharing the journey of 20 more years together.
