Children's Forum Training

Children's Forum - School Age Services

The Children's Forum has been recognized as a leading provider of school-age training for Florida's after-school and summer camp communities, since the inception of the School-Age Services Division in 1999. Jenn Faber, Director of School-Age Services & Development, plus a variety of local, state and national training consultants offer a wide range of training options for the many after-school professionals involved in the care and education of young children. High-quality, cost-effective training is essential to the development of professional early education services and is related to the quality of care and education children ultimately receive.

Our Training Options:

  • Ongoing regional seminars and mini-conferences are offered to address varied topics based on relevance and importance to the field of after-school. Check the training sessions listed below for our current offerings.
  • Training sessions can be expressly designed to meet the needs of local programs and organizations upon request. Click here for School-Age Services Training Brochure.
  • Keynote presentations for conferences and workshops can also be tailored to meet the needs of specific audiences and organizations.

For school-age services, contact Jenn Faber at 239-489-4386 or jfaber@thechildrensforum.com.

Examples of available training sessions include:

  • Topics in school-age care program administration; e.g., accreditation, quality assessment and enhancement, staff development
